About the club

Nine of the holes on this par 73 course were designed by Jack Nicklaus and nine by Greg Norman. The duo are also creating their own eighteens near San Jose del Cabo to the east. Norman's front nine have superior terrain, and his fairways are tight and carefully routed, with some lovely holes along the seaside. Nicklaus' design is less impressive, and since he had plenty of space it's hard to see why he allowed a couple of really disappointing holes to be built. The course is still coming into its own, and work on the infrastructure over recent years is improving the access roads and bringing into being a large clubhouse. The practice areas, however, are top notch, as is the maintenance. The standout hole is Norman's beautiful par 5 6th, which plays downhill over thirty yards from the tee and is framed by a spectacular vista of the Sea of Cortez.
