Double R Ranch Resort and Golf

About the club

The Iron Horse Golf Course is located directly across the street from the entrance of the Double RR Ranch. The course is designed to allow everyone to score a par game if you play the correct tee for your ability. There are Six Tee Boxes for every hole. You can find the correct tee for you by using the Driving Range and locating your range of play with the targets provided. The course is regulation length when all 18 are built, it currently plays 3,365 yards (9 holes) from the Blue Tees. The course opened in 2002 therefore there are not many large trees directly on the course, there are lots of rolling hills and is beautiful with the adjoing farm land and woodlots surrounding the course. The golf course is fully watered and maintains its bountiful green grasses through-out the summer. The Fairways are Kentucky Blue Grass and the greens are Bent Grasses.
