Rouge Park Golf Course was opened in 1923 as part of the city of Detroit Park System. The Rouge River runs through the course coming into play on 6 holes. Hole Number 11 is considered by many as one of the most difficult holes in metro Detroit. The course is a gem in the city of Detroit enjoyed by thousands of golfers. Rouge Park G.C. features a great layout good course conditions. The greens are exceptional, some of the best in metro Detroit. While on the course you can forget that you are in the city. Elevation changes, scenic holes and an abundance of wildlife including deer, tukeys, pheasant, hawks, herons,and other birds make Rouge Park G.C. a classic.
