About the club
Tucked along the snaking shorelines of the Lake of the Ozarks in central Missouri is an Italian Riviera-style resort, yacht club and golf course called The Club at Porto Cima. The club opened its signature course in 2000, commissioning Jack Nicklaus to transform the undulating lakeside terrain into a championship-style golf course. Porto Cima is highlighted by seven spectacular holes that are adjacent to the lake, as well as oak tree-lined driving areas and intense elevation changes, making approach shots difficult and visually intimidating. A round at Porto Cima culminates with a four-hole finishing stretch along the banks of the lake, beginning with the 15th, a difficult par-5 played to a green that juts out into the water behind.

Don't ever plan to quit your membership! It takes centuries to get your deposit back. I am a widow that moved away from Porto Cima where we lived and I have been waiting for our deposit since at least 2013. If I remember correctly, 3 people have to join before one person gets their deposit back. We didn't think much of it at the time, but apparently they don't get many members each year. There were over 200 people in line to receive their deposits when we left. As of July 19th 2025, I was notified there are 126 people in line ahead of us. At this point my children will inherit the deposit. I realize that me posting it could result in an even longer wait, but at this point I would prefer to warn people of this before they join. I'm sick and tired of being taken advantage of by this place. This policy is a joke.

Freakin gorgeous. Best place to shoot an engagement by far is the 15th hole. The amazing staff helped set this up and did an amazing job at making this special for the couple I had.
