About the club

The Golf du Palais Royal is a private course designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr., on the property of the Royal Palace in Agadir. Its doors open exclusively for the Hassan II Golf Trophy. The Golf du Palais Royal has hosted the prestigious Hassan II Trophy since 2011. As the location of the Moroccan Open in the 1990’s, the golf course remained in excellent condition and was left unchanged with no exaggerated setbacks to counter the increasingly powerful drives of the pros. This is why we recognize the design of a great architect, the late Robert Trent Jones Sr. As the designer of this jewel, he finds his name among the greats. The Golf du Palais Royal is built for high level tournaments. Surrounded by majestic walls that stand in front of the Atlantic Ocean, this is a pure links course. Its bumpy fairways built on sand, and its greens sitting on formidable slopes have hurt many swings!
