Extremely nice and helpful staff. Got into my slip late and realized at low tide the slip was a too shallow for my boat. Tracy immediately got me moved into a deeper slip and Thomas helped me dock. Marina is beautiful and amenities are great, hoping to keep my boat here for quite some time.

Kept my boat there for almost 6 years. I lived and worked there and I can tell you first hand that the current owner cant manage or treat people decently. I never once missed a payment and after 6 years I move my boat. I get the ok from the dockmaster at the time Lala. Then two weeks later, the morning that I move my boat. Lala sends me a email three hours after getting underway that they're going to charge me for the month anyway. Because according to them Im breaking my lease. Ok thats fine but why did they wait to tell me three hours after leaving, even though they had weeks?? Just the day before I left I spoke to Lala and Gus and they never said a word. If they would have just informed me I would have just stayed one more month. Instead I ended up paying twice because I was moving to another marina? But wait this is where is gets absolutely nuts Im back at the yacht club helping a friend with their boat, completely minding my own business and they call the cops on me and have me escorted off the property and have me banned. Keep in mind they charged for my slip and I have a slip in the marina while this is all happening 😂 Again I kept my boat there for 6 years and Im a veteran and thats just how well Chad treats people. Im extremely happy I left, I still get emails from them and their crazy fees that they want to charge people randomly. DO NOT KEEP YOUR BOAT HERE LONG TERM. Parking is a nightmare. Forget having guests over. This place is at best a transient spot only. I wouldnt say that its a yacht club but a public bar. If you want a decent boating experience try freedom boat club they operate out of the same location.

This is the rudest place I have ever been. On numerous occasions I have used this marina but have been treated with contempt and malice by people I do not know. Over the past year, I have heard and experienced in the town of Carolina Beach beauty, kindness and genuinely nice people. I hate to say this marina is the negative exception. It is the main reason we have decided to make our home base at another beach. Thank you Carolina Beach for all the wonderful times we’ve enjoyed here. Goodbye forever to Carolina Beach Yacht Club and Marina - you will not be missed!! The worst in customer service, treatment of human beings in general and the most gossipy place I’ve ever been. Since this has happened with many different employees, it is assumed it comes from the top - NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. They need to learn humiliation is the most ultra-negative form of treatment and it will come back to them one day. That being said there have been a few outstanding individuals who we did enjoy interacting with.

Parking is a real issue. It might be a challenge to find a viable spot. A lot are resorting to parking in people's yards and on the side of the road. Ticketing is confusing as some seem to be okay, some not? Hoping the town clears this issue up so we can park accordingly

Great Marina with a fantastic sunset. Easy to find our boat and enjoy the summer. Trash cans and parking available.
