Terrific club to take beginner sailing lessons. My daughter and I enjoyed it and learned a lot!

LTYC, offers many choices for a sailing experience. From : First sail ( 3hrs) one on one , to enjoy a ride on the Lake, and/or to have a feeling or a bucket list pending point. To a semi-private or private class , fit to the schedule of the interested potential sailor ( weekend or week or days ). Once, the interest is at a new level, LTYC offers beginners sailing classes ( week and weekends ). To those who said.., what’s next ? . Rear Commodore in charge of education will present you with: Intermediate sailing class. Not enough ? Here there is more : Wanna race ? LTYC offers RACING, seminars . And then…. To all of those out there, who said : “I wish…and I don’t have a sail boat” Commodore & rear commodore will invite you , after taking the sailing classes and demonstrate how not to crash the sail boat :-), to a GRAND TOUR, of LTYC fleet of sail boats already mast up, ready to be use from the dry docks at LT. The sailor will have your choice of: Flying Scott, Wayfarer, Tanzer, Lighting. So , now YOU , yes YOU.. the one with no sail boat … take your pick…and come to sail, enjoy a fantastic new circle of friends.. no counting the delicious breakfast, meals.

What a fun organization. We race, have social sails and we have Learn to Sail classes for everyone. The social aspect of this club is awesome! Come join us.

What a terrific bunch of people! They sail on the second Saturday of most months and you can usually get on somebody’s boat if you want.
