Sailing Club of Oriental

I don’t know what to say other than I am a bit sad to leave. My girl has been here for about 2 years and the marina is wonderful, Jenny is the best, and have never worried about weather knowing they take the utmost care in preparations for hurricanes and more. But it is time for upgrades and new adventures. Thank you SHYC, Forever grateful, S/V Wind Dancer

Wonderful visit to this private yacht club while visiting a friend. Really nice location, the facilities are great. Enjoyed the evening’s festivities with everyone there, a fun crowd.

Best protected marina in Oriental. The only thing that matters to me. I’ve gone through 3 different major hurricanes at Sea Harbour in the last 5 years. Not once have I had to worry about issues as long as I prepped my boat properly. It has many other perks including a fantastic harbor master Lisa, her dedicated ground crew, very nice amenities, a tool shed accessible to the members, quiet respectful neighbors but above all else the main thing that keeps us at Sea Harbour is how well protected it is.

Great spot. Very well run and maintained. Lisa and her crew do a great job of taking care of business. Bathrooms are clean, club house is comfortable, and the grounds are spotless. There is no better place.

We have kept our boat at several marinas in Oriental, and Sea Harbour is by far the best place we have ever been. I love the peaceful location, which is out of the way, but also close enough to Oriental to go run an errand or to go out to eat. It has very nice picnic areas with grills. The club house and bathrooms are very nice. One of my favorite things is the pool. All the people are very nice, and they actually make it fun to come for a workday. It does not seem like work since we are doing it with other sailors and get to have a nice lunch with time to socialize. I might also add that the staff make sure that our boats are safe and everything is ship-shape. Kudos!
