Gathered here with family friend for a Beautiful Memorial Service. Sun and the sea

(Technically I was in the municipal yacht basin and not docked at the “yacht club”) I kept my sail boat here for two seasons and it worked out well. Inexpensive for a slip (~$600 for 19ft seasonal slip) and convenient. Only issue was that you need to keep an eye on the tides at lakes bay. At low tide it’s very shallow so I simply took it out when the stars aligned and when the tide, weather and wind agreed. Great budget spot for new boaters to learn the ropes though. Friendly owners around but the area as a whole leaves much to be desired. Still, you get what you pay for and I appreciated the availability.

I have family that lives 2 blocks up & took a ride down towards yacht club just to check it out it was pretty looking out @ the water.
