About the club
The Coakley-Russo Memorial Golf Club was founded in 1956 as a tribute to Major William J. Coakley and Lt. Col. Robert J. Russo, two decorated World War II veterans. With a key location in Lyons, NJ, the Coakley-Russo Golf Course is positioned within the VA New Jersey Health Care System, and has been created to support the rehabilitation and recreation needs of veterans. The club is not typically open for public play, but does host events that allow outside players.
