Lions Head Country Club
About the club
Established in 1973, the Lion's Head Country Club represented part of the East Coast's wave of private golf facilities built during the golf boom of the 1970s. The Club chose renowned golf architect Desmond Muirhead for the course design, known for his innovative and sometimes outlandish style beyond merely challenging the players. Access to the Lions Head Country Club is private, restricted to members and their guests. However, the club has hosted various charity events open to non-members over the years.
