The Legacy Club
About the club
The Legacy Club, originally established as Woodcrest Country Club in 1929, is located in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, and has served as a notable golfing destination in the region for nearly a century. The club was designed by William S. Flynn, a prominent architect of the Philadelphia School, in collaboration with Howard C. Toomey, and its creation reflected the growing popularity of golf in the early 20th century. Spanning 178 acres, the course was crafted to offer a challenging layout with tight fairways and well-bunkered greens, embodying Flynn’s philosophy of harmonizing strategic design with natural terrain. It was renamed The Legacy Club in 2021 when the Lahn family bought it.
