About the club
Richmond County Country Club is a private club founded in 1888, making it one of the oldest in the United States. The club offers both golf and tennis facility within its 170-acre property. Initially, it started as a 9-hole golf course, but in 1916, it evolved to an 18-hole course under the architectural direction of Devereux Emmet. Membership is by invitation only, and access to the golf course is limited to members and their guests.
