About the club
Established in 1891, Shinnecock Hills Golf Club is one of the five founding member clubs of the USGA and the oldest incorporated golf club in the United States . The club was the first to admit women members, doing so from its inception . The original clubhouse, designed by Stanford White and completed in 1892, remains in use today, making it the oldest golf clubhouse in the United States .
