About the club

Legend has it that George Boldt’s wife, Louise, enjoyed being rowed through the islands in one of the estate’s St. Lawrence rowing skiffs. To accommodate her and keep her safe from possible foul weather on the river, Boldt installed a maze of protected gondola canals on the Boldt’s Wellesley Island properties. Lots of water to test your accuracy, yet within reach of higher handicapped players, the Lake Course winds its way through Boldt Castle’s historic gondola canals.
