About the club
The most storied US Open venue in American golf — host of six US Opens (1929, 1959, 1974, 1984, 2006, 2020) and winner of the US Open 'difficulty' title more than any other course. A.W. Tillinghast designed both the West and East courses in 1923. The West Course is the championship layout — its narrow, tree-lined fairways and deep bunkers are the definitive test of American parkland golf. Located in Westchester County, the membership is New York's most golf-serious establishment.
