Played a practice round on 9-10-24 for the MGA mid am … The members are friendly as well as the Staff , the men’s locker room is very spacious and well kept , the course itself is well maintained and has hosted many high level competitions due to its sustainability and high quality surfaces , bunkers are absolutely perfect , as is the scenery , set alongside the water wind is a big factor day to day - hour by hour as the tide changes the wind direction and velocity , grain plays a big part on your putts as well as fairway roll … A private club but not stuffy at all whatsoever - if you know what I mean …looking forward to the event on Oct 14-15th , and can only imagine how authentic an experience it will be - with both the MGA and Manasquan staff organizing and conducting the event …. 5 ⭐️ star

Great course and very well maintained. The service is awesome. Some of the holes are very challenging, so bring your A game. You need to be invited by a member.

It was here where I learned about the game many years ago.... 1959 through 1962, as a caddie. John Cafone was the course pro, Ron (?) Thompson was the club champion, and Jerry Barnett was the big hitter. Privately, we called him "Mr. Long and Wrong" and I can still remember wandering around in the woods looking for his errant shots. I actually wrote a partially fictional book about my experiences as a caddie at MRGC and combined them with my later real life experiences as an adult and a member of another private club in Palos Verdes Estates in California. I chose the title: "Golf - The Road to Insanity." It certainly wasn't a best seller, but I still think the title was a good choice.

Being a member of the club, I have been here many times. It is always clean and the workers are very very nice. Service is always quick and the food is very good. If you can't find anything you want, they are very flexible and you can order alternatives. There is also the option to substitute sides with no extra fee.

Beautiful course. Great staff. But members really have to get over themselves. I visit lots of golf courses and although this is a nice club the members act poorly. I look forward to playing here again soon.
