Cowans Ford Country Club

About the club

Cowan’s Ford offers a championship golf course that is both beautiful and challenging. The layout follows Donald Ross principles by presenting a variety of challenging and fun-to-play shots for all levels of golfers. The golf course has wide fairways and the best bent grass greens in the area. Ponds and natural creeks bring water into play on seven holes. The greens are A-4 bent grass and the tees and fairways are hybrid bermuda. The tee and pin placements are changed regularly to provide a wide variety of risk and reward opportunities. The comprehensive practice facility is over 40,000 square feet. It includes a chipping green, practice tee, bunkers and a large practice putting green. Cowan’s Ford has active Men's, Senior Men's, and Ladies' Golf Leagues. The club also has a comprehensive Junior golf program throughout the summer months. It includes clinics, play days, inter-club matches, parent/child events, and a Junior Club Championship. Although the course measures almost 7,000 yards from the tips, there are a variety of tees to accommodate golfers of all abilities. Cowan’s Ford is a thinking person’s golf course. For good scores, the players must plan approach shots and navigate our healthy undulating greens.
