About the club
Wade Hampton Golf Club, located in Cashiers, North Carolina, was established and built in 1987. Named after Wade Hampton III, a Civil War general and South Carolina governor, the club was intended to provide a high-quality golf experience in the picturesque setting of the Nantahala National Forest. Designed by world-renowned golf architect Tom Fazio, the course has earned accolades for striking a balance between natural beauty and challenging play. Membership is by invitation only and limited to owners of property in the Wade Hampton community.
