East Course at Lao Lao Bay Golf Resort

About the club

Greg Norman laid out two eighteen-hole courses at Lao Lao Bay Golf Resort on the Kagman Peninsula of Saipan. Both are great, but the Kagman East is the more visually stunning. The layout, which extends along a ridge eighty yards over the shoreline, is not especially lengthy, but it is well defended. Thus, for example, the 4th to the 7th lie next to the ocean so that the wind is always in play; and the 136-yard par 3 6th may be short, but it plays from the tee over the incoming waves to a cliffside green, and against the breezes will put even a pro to the test. Raised tees call for precision, and many of the fairways are narrow, while it is necessary to beware the out of bounds on the opening holes. The luxurious clubhouse offers views of the Pacific and of Tinian Island.
