Designed by Robert Taylor, Colonial Pines Golf Club offers 18 devilishly unique and demanding holes in a superbly crafted, simply gorgeous setting. Setting in the Ohio Valley of rolling hills and beautiful hardwoods, this premium hidden jewel is situated on 127 acres of beautiful terrain bordering Big Indian Creek. Colonial Pines was formerly a horse farm owned by the Luken family and at one time was used to train Olympic jumping Horses. Unlike a pure links course, you will encounter a significant amount of water, wooded external boundaries, internal wooded thickets, as well as, the normal heather and heather-topped moguls. It is a course where hitting it straight is a plus; being able to bend the ball in both directs is a very great advantage. The genius of this must-play course is evident in the holes themselves; exquisitely challenging fairways, strategically placed bunkers and water (6 lakes totaling 11 acres), and beautiful framed & contoured greens. Tucked off of State Route 222 just 25 minutes from I-275 , the golf course is surrounded by a farming community. We do offer Seasonal Golf Memberships for those looking to enjoy the challenge of the course on a regular basis along with the privileges of membership. The Clubhouse at Colonial Pines offers a comfortable and casual atmosphere that makes it the perfect 19th hole as well as a great place to relax and have a bite to eat. Seating is available inside or outside with scenic views. Let our banquet facilities create the perfect setting for your next social event.
