High Lands Golf Club

About the club

Opened in 1957, the High Lands Golf Club is a course that gets in your blood the very first time you play it. Possessing 18 very unique holes that you’ll remember long after playing them, the terrain changes with rolling hills abound at High Lands. Nothing quite compares with the altitude, character, length and gaping chasm of a ravine that will intimidate you on number 3 . On this tee you are at the highest point in Western Licking County which makes this High Lands Signature hole a truly one of a kind experience. Built as a Scottish-style golf course High Lands was envisioned and executed using all of the natural beauty and geography of the Licking County area. You’ll need every facet of your game to score but the course is still short enough to emphasize accuracy. Strategy and course management are much needed tools on the loop, as you’ll encounter shots on various slopes, distances and through foliage guarded approaches. Your touch must also be on high alert as the sheer speed of the putting surfaces will make your competitive juices flow. An experienced and exceptionally trained staff ensures that our fairways and greens are meticulously cared on a daily basis and in top notch condition when you’re ready to tee it up. High Lands Golf Club is truly a hidden gem nestled in the serene sanctuary of east central Ohio, and as a result, there’s very little traffic in this rural area where we are call home. Also, there are very few residences that are located near the course, which makes it different from other private courses. It is not uncommon to frequently see Blue Herron, Cormorant, Wild Turkey and White-tailed deer on and around our rolling landscapes and flowing waterways. If your round of golf makes you feel that you need to a few more swings, chips and putts, High Lands offers a practice facility with a multi-acre natural grass teeing area, target greens, and a chipping, pitching, and bunker area. When you couple these resources with a PGA Professional Staff Lessons you are sure to hone your craft and impress your peers on our challenging course.
