About the club

Gracing the northeast Columbus countryside is the architecturally inspired Royal American. Designed by Dr. Michael Hurdzan, the clubhouse is reminiscent of a Scottish castle. The 27,000 square foot clubhouse and 18-hole links style golf course join hands with nature to present a place of ultimate tranquility and relaxation. The wind and water make for an especially challenging course. Royal American features bent grass tees, fairways, and greens and is manicured to the highest standards. The course also features a driving range, practice chipping and putting green, locker rooms with showers, and a full-service Grille Room featuring ice-cold brews and tasty menu items. Upstairs, our Event Center accommodates groups up to 250 for an unforgettable wedding reception! From our fully-stocked Pro Shop to our challenging 18th green, Royal American offers something for everyone! Designed by Dr. Michael Hurdzan, Royal’s 18-hole links style course features bent grass fairways, tees, and greens maintained to the highest standards. Stop by the practice green for putting practice or sharpen your skills on the driving range before your round. Just getting into the sport? Royal American offers lessons with seasoned golf professionals! Hungry? Stop by the Grille Room at the turn, or come in after your round for appetizers and drinks.
