Summit Golf and Country Club

About the club

Summit’s pedigree of golf architects has few rivals within Canada. Started by George Cumming, the legendary Scottish golf pro who worked most of his 50-year career as the Head Professional at Toronto Golf, the course was altered by Stanley Thompson, the dean of Canadian golf designers. In recent years, Doug Carrick, perhaps Canada’s finest modern golf designer, rebuilt greens and reconfigured several holes, en route to presenting the best version of Summit yet.
