About the club
Eugene Country Club was established in 1899, making it one of the oldest golf clubs in Oregon. The club originally featured a nine-hole course, which was expanded to 18 holes in 1923. The renowned golf course architect Chandler Egan, a two-time U.S. Amateur champion, was responsible for the redesign and expansion of the course in 1925. Egan's work is noted for its strategic design and integration with the natural landscape of the Pacific Northwest .
