Willamette Sailing Club

About the club

Portland's only club dedicated exclusively to small boat sailing. Since 1961, we have been teaching people to sail, fostering competitive racing, and building a community united by a shared love of active sailing and the water. Located on the Willamette River just five minutes south of downtown Portland, our modern sailing center serves as home base for over 250 members, multiple youth and high school teams, and college sailing programs. Each year, more than 800 people learn to sail through our programs, race days bring over 30 boats to our starting line, and we host regional regattas at home and away.
