Applebrook Golf Club was established in 2001 on a 180-acre parcel on Goshen Road that had belonged to the Sharples estate. The estate's history can be traced back to Quaker pioneers in the early 1700s. The clubhouse comprises the remodelled Sharples mansion, preserving some elements of the historic estate's architecture.
