About the club
Stonewall’s Old course is a minimalist layout designed by Tom Doak, about 45 miles northwest of Philadelphia. The challenging layout has a good amount of elevation change, including at the par-4 finisher, where the approach plays dramatically downhill to a green set in front of the old stone clubhouse. There are five strong par 3s, including the downhill fifth, where the green is guarded by wetlands short and a creek to the right. The club hosted the 2016 U.S. Mid-Amateur and the 2023 U.S. Women’s Mid-Amateur.

course is beautiful. View is quite impressive, but greens are not good condition, airation was recently undergone, but green keeper need to work on. The price doesn't make sense with this green condition.

The course is well-maintained with lush fairways, fast greens, and a layout that’s both challenging and enjoyable. Unfortunately, my experience with Chris was disappointing, he was very unprofessional. I hope Chris takes this feedback constructively and works on being more dependable in the future.

Was fortunate for the opportunity to play this track. The whole experience is first class. A great vibe all day long. The practice facilities are phenomenal. Pace of play was great. The Old course was in excellent shape. The greens were quick; some were a bit gimmicky with all of the slope but overall they seemed relatively fair. Thought the course played longer than the card, could have been the high winds. Anyway, i'm not sure there are many places I'd rather spend an afternoon than Stonewall.
