This exclusive club, with a membership of fewer than five hundred, keeps its facilities impeccably manicured for those fortunate enough to play here. Tom Weiskopf laid out a clever course: the fairways invite powerful shots, but the traps and the rough stand ready to penalize the errant drive, especially when the breeze kicks up. Weiskopf made excellent use of the natural contours of the terrain, so that, for example, gullies serve as natural hazards in some places. Quick and even greens make for pleasure but challenging putting. The layout is perfect for match play, and indeed serves as home base for a number of area pros and for the Philippine team; it was also a venue during the Southeast Asian Games in 2005. Amenities include a splendid clubhouse with a spacious patio built out over the lake right by the 18th, an attentive staff and unbeatable practice facilities.
