Pestana Vila Sol Golf Club

About the club

Pestana Vila Sol Golf Course Reviews The Vila Sol Vilamoura Spa & Golf Resort occupies 75 acres in a truly revitalising natural setting. Located in the sunshine of the Algarve, the fabulous 27-hole golf area occupies a valley sculptured by nature as lakes and a myriad of trees are found throughout the course. As part of the Pestana Group, which manages a plethora of golf courses across the Algarve, excellence is expected as the resort itself has two courses: Pestana Vila Sol Championship and Vila Sol Academy Golf Course. Both courses have varying levels of difficulty allowing anyone, from beginner to pro, to relish their time spent amongst the stunning nature of the Algarve. The Vila Sol Championship Golf Course allows a unique playing experience as each of the 27 holes are surrounded by breathtaking nature. Amongst the splendid scenery of the 72 shot course, any, from pro to beginner, can enjoy every moment on the course as they traverse technical obstacles while breathing in the fresh air of the course’s natural surroundings. Originally made in 1991, the course offers a small taste of older Portugal, while the resort itself, along with the real estate that borders it, remains modern. This blend between the old and new surrounding the course allows for a unique experience as course designer, Donald Steel, allows everyone at the course to experience an intricate blend between the two ways of life which can be found throughout Portugal. Golfers are able to enjoy, in a unique and natural setting, excellent conditions from the first to the last shot. With a vast team of professionals at your disposal from the 1st tee to the Clubhouse, it ensures that every moment creates an unforgettable experience...
