The first green course to open in Riyadh was the very central Intercontinental Golf Club in 1994. Located in the heart of the city within the grounds of the hotel, the 9 holes double up to an 18 –hole 2219 yard par 56 course playing “out” off the blue tees and “in” off the white tees, a nice idea to vary the character of the holes.
