Winthrop University Golf Course
About the club
The nine-hole course marked by rolling hills, long fairways and wooded areas was given to enhance the physical education program at Winthrop. Winthrop students, faculty/staff and their immediate family members, and Eagle Club members at the Coaches level or above may present their appropriate ID cards for free play. Other golfers may play with a $10 daily pass. There is also a challenging 18-hole disc golf course for public use surrounding the lake and coliseum. That course has been the site of the U. S. and World Disc Golf championships.
