Legend Golf and Safari Resort

The Legend Golf and Safari Club near the Limpopo River is a truly unique golfing experience, beginning with the way the course was designed: the club convinced eighteen of the best golfers on the planet each to create a hole. Multiple cooks certainly did not spoil this stew, for the result is a fantastic layout, to which a 19th was added at the suggestion of Gary Player that is at 395 yards the longest par 3 anywhere, and that plunges 470 yards from the tee to the green (which happens to be in the form of a miniature Africa). For added excitement, the club has put up a million-dollar bounty for the first hole-in-one. The area was once home to the Kingdom of Mutapa, which from the 15th to the 18th centuries controlled parts of Zimbabwe and Mozambique as well. The Legend is also unique for the amazing African flora and fauna that grace its grounds.
