About the club

Golf Son Muntaner, opened in 2000 in Mallorca’s Son Vida estate, is a par-72, 6,305-meter course designed by Kurt Rossknecht. As one of the three Balearic courses in the European Tour Destinations network, it hosted the 2022 Mallorca Golf Open and 2023 Mallorca Ladies Golf Open, won by Yannik Paul and Alexandra Försterling. Awarded the 59club Golden Flag for six consecutive years, it blends innovative design with environmental sustainability, holding EMAS and ISO 14001 certifications. The course features wide fairways with Bermuda Celebration grass and technical Agrostis V8 greens, demanding strategic play amid water hazards and the iconic “Na Capitana,” a 1,000-year-old olive tree at the 15th hole. Its double tee system ensures smooth play, while the driving range with Top Tracer technology offers real-time shot analysis. The challenging 5th and 6th holes, recently redesigned, test golfers of all levels. The modern clubhouse includes a Pro Shop with premium brands and the Na Capitana Restaurant, serving seasonal dishes and snacks with golf course views. A strict dress code requires golf shoes with cleats and prohibits casual attire.
