About the club

In the small town of Mogro, located in one of the most beautiful and charming spots of the Cantabrian Sea, is the Abra del Pas golf course, a place where the golfer can enjoy this sport in a comfortable, quiet and peaceful way. The course is located 8 km from Torrelavega and only 15 km from Santander. It is called Abra del Pas because it is located precisely at the mouth of this river, which surrounds the course. In addition to playing golf, the golfer can enjoy the beauty of its surroundings because the course is surrounded by forests and sand dunes, which turns the fairways of the course into real meadows. The course has 18 holes and par 70. The course has gentle ups and downs, a large lake that affects 6 holes and helps in the drainage of the course and in the strategy of the game, and a thick rough limiting the fairways. Currently, it is a course open to the public and owned by CANTUR (Cantabrian Regional Society for the Promotion of Tourism). It was redesigned by José Manuel Gutiérrez Serna.
