Campo Municipal de Golf de La Junquera

About the club

The Pretium Golf La Junquera course is located on the Astillero-Pedreña road, just at the entrance of this beautiful Pedreña village belonging to the Municipality of Marina de Cudeyo. The location of this course is beautiful, considering its scenic value and location. The course has been adapted to the nature of the municipal land of La Junquera, (the name comes from the fact that in the past, all the land was a marsh with a vegetation where reeds abounded). The course is located in Pedreña, a peninsula south of the bay of Santander. For its location, landscapes and use of the land La Junquera is unique, in courses with 9-hole courses; the views of the bay and the city of Santander, as well as the peaks of Europe is extraordinary. The course of Pretium Golf La Junquera de Pedreña, was inaugurated in May 1997 and is very selective. Due to its characteristics, a maximum degree of concentration is necessary, otherwise, it is certain that double bogey and even triple bogey will be very easy to hit. It is a short course but with a lot of technique and precision. Holes 2, 3 and 4 are surely the most difficult ones, together with hole 6, since the first ones are bathed by the Bay on the right side. The course is not for playing a lot of woods, it is a course for good iron players, as well as for those who excel in the short game and on the green. Our driving range has a driving range, a putting green, an approach area and a practice bunker. In addition, we are constantly improving it to make our members' training more efficient. The idea is to add new ways of training that will make this Club Pretium Golf facility the most efficient driving range possible.
