About the club

Las Caldas Municipal Golf Course is located 5 km. from the city of Oviedo, 40 km. from Asturias Airport, 28 km. from Gijón and 30 km. from Avilés, areas with which it is connected by highways. Located in the center of the province, in a totally natural setting, it has thousands of long-lived trees, a clear example of the Asturian forest mass, where chestnut trees, oaks, salt trees and all kinds of native vegetation give shelter to a great variety of fauna. The Las Caldas Municipal Golf Course was inaugurated in 2000 and consists of 18 holes, par 71, with a course of 5678 meters. The game is differentiated in its two courses by the orography on which it is located. One runs along the lower part of the valley, where the Gafo River flows, thus allowing water to enter the course at different times. In the upper part, located to the north of the course, the fairways require a different technique, forcing the game to be developed with different strategies and with various probabilities on each hole. The player has the possibility of using his entire bag of clubs in this course that adapts to any level of play and enjoy unforgettable moments framed in a scenic harmony typical of a game in a natural paradise.
