Club de Campo El Tiro
About the club
The Club has its origin in 1886, when the Heritage Administration of the Royal Site of San Ildefonso granted Mr. Ruperto Aguirre authorization for the establishment of the Royal Pigeon Shooting Club in the grounds of the Casa de la Mata. Subsequently, while preserving its Pigeon Shooting Court, it evolved towards the practice of other sports activities, among which, as can be seen in the documentation extracted from the General Archive of the Palace, the then known as Lawn-Tennis and Golf.
