About the club

The Golf Club of El Espinar was born in 1990 after a group of fans who met to play in Los Llanos in the municipality of El Espinar, organized and founded the club. It is the first rustic golf course approved by the RFEG, after and in the shadow of ours, the rest of the rustic courses in Spain have already started to be approved, which we are very pleased about. The course is rustic without artificial irrigation, so it is totally ecological and the green carpets have nine holes, (with 4 pairs three, 4 pairs five and 10 pairs four in total 6,167 meters) with different exits in several holes, and it is located on a private land in the area of Cañadas Hondas, about eight kilometers from the nucleus El Espinar on the road SG-500 that connects the aforementioned nucleus to Ávila, being the first rustic course approved by the Royal Spanish Golf Federation . Throughout the year, mainly from March to October, social and open championships are held, many of which are sponsored and with important prizes and gifts. In summer, the club has a free weekend school for children up to 16 years, leaving their clubs free and taking a bus in the town hall square that takes them to and from the course.
