About the club

The Club de Golf Retamares is a family sports club founded in 1993. Thirty minutes to the north of Madrid and near the A1 Madrid – Burgos motorway, the course stretches over 720,000 m² of land with spectacular views of the mountains and the capital. The only golf course designed by José Mª Olazábal in Madrid. The 18-hole par 72 round is versatile and fun both for medium-high handicap players and for the technical and demanding. The shaping of the course included the old design in the uneven terrain and make a spectacular links design in terms of sport and appearance. In recent years, the Retamares philosophy has been given a more social and family slant. As a result, the Junior Retamares Open By IMG Academy tournament was organised from 2015 until 2019, and the Boys & Girls clubs tournament in 2015.
