About the club

The location of the Villarrín de Campos Golf Course (Zamora), is within the Natural Reserve of the Villafáfila Lagoons, which makes possible the rational use of natural areas for recreational, educational and scientific purposes, combining conservation and development, thus contributing to the use of social welfare. The Villarrín de Campos Golf Course, with 9 holes, is built on 24 hectares of natural meadow land, with an elongated shape, divided by the course of the Salado River, over a length of more than 1,000 meters. The situation of the same is equidistant about 35 kilometers from the main population centers near the Golf Course, Zamora, Benavente, Toro and Villalpando among others, all of them communicated by highway and with good access to the Golf Course. The course is quite flat and easy to play on foot although, due to the existence of several watercourses that accompany and/or cross the fairways and a lake, it makes the game quite technical and entertaining at the same time. The fairways are long and wide and the greens are quite level, which does not make putting any easier, due to the fact that the slopes are minimal, forcing you to concentrate more on reading them. There are 4 par 4 holes, 3 par 3 holes and 2 par 5 holes. There is a driving range, a putting green and a pitch & putt. The course was designed by Manuel Piñero, is a par 70 and measures 5,676 meters from the yellow tees.
