The Empordà Golf Forest & Links which is located in the most beautiful part of the Costa Brava, enjoys a privileged location just one and a half hours from Barcelona, thirty minutes from Girona and its airport, and fifteen minutes from the best beaches on the Costa Brava. The Empordà Golf Resort offers two magnificent itineraries: Empordà Links among lakes and dunes and Empordà Forest which meanders among pines and lakes. Both layouts designed by world-acclaimed architect Robert von Hagge. His first design project in Spain, the courses feature all the characteristics associated with von Hagge, requiring players to employ a variety of strokes and techniques to overcome the challenge posed. In contrast to Empordà Links, Empordà Forest winds through a traditional Mediterranean pine forest that offers welcome protection when the wind is up. Players must navigate their way through a series of rolling fairways that have been carved through the trees, but beware of the expansive lakes that have the potential to wreck any card.
