About the club

Real Guadalhorce Club de Golf, Malaga, Spain: An Exemplary Blend of Challenge and Charm Real Guadalhorce Club de Golf, located in the beautiful city of Malaga, is a remarkable golfing destination that offers an exceptional blend of challenge and scenic delight. Course Layout & Design Designed by Kosti Kuronen, the 18-hole course at Real Guadalhorce is characterized by its two contrasting halves. The front nine holes are designed in a British parkland style, with wide fairways and large greens, while the back nine offer a more modern design, with elevated tees and water hazards coming into play on several holes. The course is well-maintained, with lush fairways and true, fast greens. The bunkers are strategically placed, calling for careful strategy and precise shot-making. Suitability & Challenges Real Guadalhorce Club de Golf caters to golfers of all skill levels. While beginners can enjoy the forgiving fairways of the front nine, experienced golfers will find the back nine more challenging, with the 11th hole, a long par-5 with water on the right, being particularly testing. Standout Aspects One of the standout aspects of Real Guadalhorce Club de Golf is its stunning views of the Guadalhorce Valley and the mountains of Malaga. The course's integration with the surrounding natural environment enhances its aesthetic appeal and adds a unique dimension to your round. The clubhouse, located in a refurbished Andalusian country house, offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere. It features a restaurant serving local cuisine, a swimming pool, tennis courts, and a pro shop. With its diverse layout, excellent maintenance, and stunning views, it stands out as a premier golfing destination in Malaga. On a five-star scale, considering its unique layout, scenic beauty, and excellent amenities, I would rate Real Guadalhorce Club de Golf a solid 4.5 stars
