Founder Nick Jones opened the first House in 1995 above his restaurant, Cafe Boheme, in a Georgian house in London's Soho. Its Houses combine places to eat, drink, work, exercise and stay, with screening rooms and an art collection of more than 8,000 works.

Little Beach House Barcelona is in the seaside village of Garraf, in a 1950s building on the seafront with views over the Mediterranean. It has 17 bedrooms, a terrace, a roof used for dining outside and interiors with Spanish and Catalan influences. The menu features seafood, tapas and paella, with lighter dishes served on the beach, and the House runs fitness sessions, outdoor activities such as hiking, and massages and treatments in an open-air spa.
