About the club

Designed by Ron Kirby and opened in June of 2006, Lopesan Meloneras Golf was the 6th golf course to open its doors in Gran Canaria and the first for the Lopesan Hotel Group. The course hosted the 2007 Spanish PGA Championship with great success, showcasing its natural beauty and difficult design to top spanish professionals including Rafa Cabrera Bello and Alvaro Quiros. \\ Meloneras Golf course with a par 71 is situated in the new exclusive touristic resort coast of Meloneras with good accessibility to modern luxury hotels and shopping centres. Meloneras Golf offers its clients an innovative service such as buggies with GPS. \\ The golfers can enjoy their game on 520.000 square meters between lakes and palm-trees. The course is also appropriate for international competitions. It has four different tees per hole, thus players with different handicaps can enjoy playing. \\ Meloneras Golf is dedicated to professionals as well as amateurs, but also to those interested in golf who are holding a golf-club for the first time in their lifes. The golf course begins with a simple par four so the golfer can adjust his technique and prepare for the challenges of the circuit.
