About the club
Course designed by Mackenzie Ross (Scotland, 1890 - 1974) architect and golf course designer who designed numerous golf courses in Spain, Great Britain, France and Portugal. One of his most recognized works was the Turnberry course, home of the British Open. In 1971, Ross was elected the first president of the British Association of Golf Course Architects. He also designed the "Las Palmas Golf Club" (today Real Club de Golf de Las Palmas) which has the honor of being the first golf course to be built in Spain.
