About the club

The Real Golf Club de San Sebastián is located in the municipality of Hondarribia (Fuenterrabía), on the slopes of Mount Jaizkibel, very close to the mouth of the Bidasoa River and the border with France. The golf course and the rest of its facilities are located on an area of 50 hectares, where large masses of native oak trees predominate. The layout of the course is beautifully designed, with a predominance of gently sloping fairways, although some of them are quite steep. An attractive 18-hole, par 71 course, which offers a challenge to any golfer. The clubhouse is of sober and elegant design, located in the old Bordagain farmhouse (Villa San José), which was rebuilt in the 60's, to adapt to the needs of a clubhouse. Both the social chalet and the rest of the club's buildings are located in old farmhouses, which in spite of the modifications that were made, have not lost their statics and are perfectly integrated into their surroundings. The practice court facilities were modified a few years ago, and are equipped with modern posts arranged in two levels, as well as an area for the practice of the short stroke.
