About the club

The course was built in two phases: Holes 1 to 9 belong to the second phase, appreciating in its fairways very pronounced moldings and quite moving and difficult greens. Holes 10 to 18 belong to the first phase of construction with several very long fairways and more straightforward greens. This varied configuration creates a diversity of situations that all types of players will enjoy. The construction system of the fairways incorporating a layer of more than 15 cm. of sand and the careful drainage system make it possible to play all year round regardless of weather conditions. Basozabal is a long course, with a length of 6,499 m from the white bars, and is characterized by being very varied and technical. The course occupies a wide amphitheater, crossed by a regatta where the waters of the hills that frame it converge, and in its layout there are two beautiful lakes that come into play. The first between holes 3 and 9 and the second between 13 and 15.
