Soho House is a members' club group for people working in the creative industries. Founder Nick Jones opened the first House in 1995 above his restaurant, Cafe Boheme, in a Georgian house in London's Soho. Its Houses combine places to eat, drink, work, exercise and stay, with screening rooms and an art collection of more than 8,000 works.

Soho House Barcelona occupies an 18th-century building in the Gothic Quarter, with vaulted ceilings, Catalan-influenced interiors and views towards Marina Port Vell. It has 56 bedrooms, a rooftop pool overlooking the sea and city, an indoor pool, a gym with a spin studio, and a Cowshed spa modelled on a traditional Spanish pharmacy. The House menu centres on tapas and Mediterranean dishes, Cecconi's serves Northern Italian food, and there is a screening room.
