About the club

Frosaker Golfklubb earned some fame in 2008 as the site of Annika Sorenstam's last tournament in her home country. The course, which opened in 1987, is certainly up to championship standards. The back nine are routed close to Lake Malaren, one of the great many bodies of water in Sweden. The par 4 15th, where water is in play all along the left and the green is raised, is one of the finest holes in Scandinavia, as is the finishing hole with its forced carry over water. The opening nine are a completely different experience, inland and wide open, but great golf. In its third decade, Frosaker has kept pace with innovations in the game and remains an excellent challenge for the more accomplished golfer. The setting is wonderful parkland that abuts the Frosaker Nature Reserve, and is an hour away from the busy capital city of Stockholm.
